About us, We are a combination department with four full time firefighters that are supported by 34 volunteers. We provide services to approximately 5,000 citizens within 25 square miles. Madisonville is the County seat of Monroe County located in East Tennessee which is the fifth largest county in the state .We became a combination department in 1995 prior to that we were an all volunteer department. We operate out of one station with two engines, A snorkle,A brush truck and a service truck. We respond to all fires, fire alarms, vehicle wrecks with injury, hazardous materials spills, and provide advanced life support. We also provide mutual aide to the surrounding departments.
